A Gun for Hire
Newton, Helmut

"A Gun for Hire" is an exhibition catalogue and offers, for the first time, Helmut Newton's fashion shots shown together in a publication. The selection was made by June Newton for the Grimaldi Forum Monaco in April 2005. The catalogue also includes texts by June Newton, Pierre Berge, Tom Ford, Josephine Hart and Anna Wintour. The cover material is black plike 330 gsm (foil blocked in gloss black) and the text material is curious xpose clear 62 gsm, red chromalux 250 gsm (foil blocked in Gloss Black) and parilux gloss 170 gsm. It was printed in four process colours and Foster grey (duotone) and inline illustration varnish, the Foster grey ink was previously specially formulated for the "Reflections" book.

Also includes photographs of the artist at work at Gemini and small snapshots of the Gemini staff. New, signed on the first page by Claes Oldenburg


Riverlines
Long, Richard

New, never used. Riverlines is about the making of Richard Long's hand-made work "Riverlines" for the Hearst Tower New Tork in 2006. He made the work with a mix of mud from two rivers -the Hudson and the Avon. The Riverlines book includes images of Richard Long producing "Riverlines" and has writings by Norman Foster, Richard Cork and Richard Long. The text material is Mohawk options true white vellum 148 gsm, the endpaper is colorplan plain dark grey 135 gsm and the cloth is intercover lino 402/002 berber.
It has been printed in black and Foster grey (duotone) and inline illustration varnish, the Foster grey ink was specially formulated for the "Reflections" book. The head and tail bands are grey and the blocking is kurz colorit grey 922.


Blood on Paper

At a time when the motion of the book is challenged by innovations in screen and computer-related media, Blood on Paper shows the extraordinary ways in which the book has been treated by leading artists. This ground-breaking book comprises a series of unbound booklets, each one devoted to an artist, presented in a beautifully designed box.
This publication acts as the accompanying catalogue to the exhibition Blood on Paper at V&A Museum in London (UK) from 15 April to 29 June 2008, co-curated by the autors. Artists included: Francis Bacon, Balthus, Georg Baselitz, Joseph Beuys, Louise Bourgeois, Daniel Buren, Jean-Marc Bustamante,

Ways beyond art
Weiwei, Ai

The Chinese artist Ai Weiwei's exhibition catalogue Ways Beyond Art, which will open on the 19th of May at Ivorypress Art+Books. The catalogue includes an extensive interview with the artist by Hans Ulrich Obrist, an essay written by Uli Sigg, as well as fifty photographs of the artist's works of art: architecture, sculpture, installations, photographs, drawings and images from his blog.
