Cada uno de los días del film corresponde a un miembro de la familia, cuyos pasos se siguen de la mañana a la noche. Un hijo que se marcha del hogar familiar; una adolescente a punto de perder la virginidad que entra en guerra con su madre; a su vez, en el umbral de una crisis, al aproximarse a los 50 años, un padre taxista que ya no le dirige la palabra a uno de sus hijos, mientras que el otro vive inmerso en sus fantasías amorosas.

For 'Seven Easy Pieces' Marina Abramovic reenacted five seminal performance works by her peers, dating from the 1960 s and 70 s, and two of her own, interpreting them as one would a musical score.The seven works were performed for seven hours each, over the course of seven consecutive days, November 9 15, 2005 at the Guggenheim Museum, in New York City.

Il Girasole "A House Near Verona"

On the slope of a hill in northern Italy's Po Basin stands Casa Girasole. Built in the early 1930s by the Italian architects Angelo Invernizzi and Ettore Fagiuoli, this villa exemplifies the Italian style Futurismo in architecture. But what makes Casa Girasole truly extraordinary is its ability to follow the sun across the sky, rotating using an electric motor and providing its occupants with a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.


The award-winning documentary film Il Girasole. A House Near Verona offers an inside look into Casa Girasole, guiding audiences across the grounds and through the various rooms of the villa, which has been entirely preserved in its original state. Filmmaker Christoph Schaub and architect Marcel Meili provide not just a history of this architectural feat but also a survey of the period in which it was conceived.


The DVD is complemented by a booklet with introductory essays and illustrations and will appeal to anyone interested in twentieth-century architecture.
